⚾ Orlando’s Fight Against Cancer Benefit Fundraiser 💛

Join the community on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Oakridge Golf Course in Goldfield for a special benefit supporting 13-year-old Orlando and his family during his fight against cancer.

Orlando was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma in May 2026. Ewing sarcoma is a rare and aggressive cancer affecting the bones and surrounding soft tissue. Orlando is expected to undergo treatments in Iowa City over the next seven to nine months.

The fundraiser will feature activities for all ages, including a golf tournament, meal, kids’ zone and silent auction. ⛳🍽️🎈

📅 Event Details

Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026
Location: Oakridge Golf Course, Goldfield, Iowa

⛳ Golf Tournament

The nine-hole tournament will feature four-person teams. Participants are asked to sign in by 2 p.m.

🎈 Kids’ Zone

A kids’ zone will be open from 3 to 7 p.m. and will include:

  • Inflatables
  • Popcorn
  • Cotton candy
  • Snow cones
  • Additional family-friendly activities

🍽️ Freewill Donation Meal

A freewill donation meal will begin at 5 p.m. The menu includes:

  • Pulled pork
  • Cheesy potatoes
  • Baked beans
  • Chips
  • Baked goods

A silent auction will also be held during the fundraiser. 🎁
